• SITI KHADIJAH BINTI IMAM SUPA'AT 272 voters
• NADZIRAH BINTI REDZUAN 132 voters

For your information, the eligible students are 985. However, only 414 students are going out for voting. We hope, next year this number will increase dramatically to show that sciencess students are very concern in the development of IIUM. However, the most important thing is no spoilt vote :).See you next year in general election..

Your Vote is Your Voice

Salam to all KoS student.

This is just a reminder to all, that we'll be having our Campus Election as the details below:

Date : 21st Jan 2010 (Thursday)
Time : 9am-5pm
Venue : Computer Lab Level 2, KoM

The election will be conducted in e-style...Well, you know what I mean, electronic=using computers=no manual style=no writing on a piece of paper etc...haha.

Here are some tips or reminder on voting:

1. Select the significant person that you want to vote earlier...so you won't take more time doing the voting. Remember, you are not the only voter in our campus.
2. Please do not forget to bring along your matric card on the voting day. The system is simple, no matric card= no voting for you.
3. If the instruction say, eg; 'choose 2 from 3 nominees below ' then choose 2 instead of 1 or 3, because if you do that...your vote is ' undi rosak'.
   

Therefore, let us do our responsibility tomorrow to cast our vote, to choose our leaders...for our voices to be heard of and our welfare to be taken care of. Happy voting~

This evening, our beloved nominees have delivered their 1st speech at lobby Kulliyyah of Science confidently. This make us wonder and ponder which are the best suitable,new chosen future leaders. (Inshaallah~ Maher Zain).

Alhamdulillah we still been given the chance to see this beautiful life. And now is the fifth week of the semester. Hows life?study?ok ke ko? So for those past 5 weeks, what had you learnt? Quizes? It is 'kacang' rite..? hee..sori for the late, but here is the objectives for SCIENCESS new tenure:

To be the leading and progressive society in academic and co-curriculum among IIUM community based on the principles of integration of knowledge and comprehensive excellence in life as well as hereafter.

• To strengthen the brotherhood among KOS community

Welcoming Remarks by President

Assalamualaikum..

Hi! Nice to meet you guys. How are you bro..sis…? Everything good? This is my first debut in here, so hope can see others also.

Praise is to Allah and the best prayer goes only to our beloved prophet, The Last Messenger of Allah, Rasulullah SAW.

I would like to take this opportunity to say Hello, Hi, Welcome, Ahlan wa Sahlan, Sawadekap to all of you. Hope we can meet each other, know each other and care about each other. We are connected with each other, but not really 'through our window'.. but we are connected under One Faith.

Bout this matter, I really hope to see our relationship, ukhuwah, and brotherhood last forever. I love to see the 'sense of belonging' among our friends and family members and I really urge all of us, to nourish our heart with this kind of feeling, at all time.

For me, it is such a wonderful time, spending my life together in this SCIENCESS family. Not because of being pres and what so ever.. but actually the bonding and 'connection' among us, which is really hard to be described in a few sentences. I don't know either me myself caught in my 'perasan feeling' or it is for real. But for me, this is for real!

By the way, thanks to the new admin, for their afford to monitor our blog. Nice layout, and greetings marquee. Hee..(^^)b

Till now. Hope this can be our discussion board, sharing moments medium or can be a place to criticize anything bout our kulliyyah. All of you are most welcome. Please don't hesitate to tell us. As our prophet said, 'say it, even its bitter'. So this how we work together. Feel free to do so k?

New Semester, New Year, New Lineup, New Challenges & New Hope.

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

Hello there... =)

It's been a while since this blog has not been updated from the last semester.

On behalf of new SCIENCESS Lineup 2009/2010, we would like to apologize and convey our sorry to all SCIENCESS members who are really concern on this blog 'survival' in this virtual world.

The delay to update this blog is actually due to some technical reasons. After SCIENCESS Annual Grand Dinner which been held at Vistana Hotel last October, everybody were so busy with academic matters. Exam was came very soon then. After that semester break and Eid Al-Adha celebration were took place.

All student are going back to their hometown. Yahoo!

Monday - 7/12/2009 - was the day when the new semester started back after two weeks holiday (is it enough, ha?). While some of our friends in other public universities still enjoying the year-end-sale (or YES!), we, the dedicated IIUM students as usual left our beloved hometown to achieve our mission in serving the ummah. (cewahh...)

Some of us were struggling to manage their study plan, and others were waiting for the scholarship or edu loan (PTPTN laa, what else) to buy equipments for the new semester.

In the meantime, newly elected Exco were preparing the almanac, SCIENCESS Vision and Mission during induction day to ensure Kulliyyah of Science student will get as much benefit from the participation in the society and setting up new updated management to ensure SCIENCESS will strive excellent in the coming one year of tenure.

As we all may know, this blog is maintained by Public Relation and Information Bureau (PRI) under the supervison of Mohd Faisal (Biomedic, 2nd year) and Aishah (Math Sc, 3rd year). But we have our own team to help the PRI Exco to manage this blog.

So, as been requested from our bosses to taaruf who we are -the one who at the back of this blog- we would like to thank to the previous moderator for establsihing a very good platform as a medium to convey the message and information regarding our society programmes by allowing reciprocal communications of top-down and bottom-up.

We hope that Kulliyyah of Science students which are diverse in preferences, hobbies, and multi-talented would become one-family under one roof of SCIENCESS through this blog.

As our number of family members are increasing every year and we are separated demographically and emotionally, we should be more stronger than we before to face the challenge along the way to achieve triple ICE (still remember huh?) refer this.

My Allah, Thou art the eternal God, this is the beginning of another new year; I, therefore, request Thee, in this hour, to keep off Satan (Shaytan), to give me control over my "self" inclined to sin and deviation, so that it brings me near Thee,

O Compassionate! O the Owner of majesty and kindness! O Supporter of him who has no supporter! O Provider of him who has no provision! O He who watches over him who has no protection! O He who comes to help him who has no hope of help! O Reliance for him who has no one to lean upon! O Treasure of him who has nothing in the purse! O He who knows well how to put to test and trial! O the Ultimate Hope! O the Strength of the weak! O the Rescuer of the drowning! O He who saves from destruction! O He who bestows bounties! O He who shows courtesy and treats with benevolence! O he who treats with kindness and generosity! O He who does favours!

Thou art he before whom prostrate in adoration the blackness of the night and the brightness of the day, the moonlight of the moon, the sunlight of the sun, the ripple of the water, the trunks of the trees! O Allah, There is no associate with Thee!

O Allah make us generous, good and high-minded, more than that which they can imagine or speculate, cover and escort us with that which they know not, and do not (even) associate us with that which they say. Sufficient is Allah (for me), there is no god save He, on Him I rely, and He is the Lord of the Great Arsh.

We believe that all is from our Lord, and do not say (this) save those who have sincere hearts and intelligent minds. Our Lord! Cause not our hearts to stray after Thou has guided us, and bestow upon us mercy from Thy Presence. Verily Thou art the Bestower.
