Hello there... =)
It's been a while since this blog has not been updated from the last semester.
On behalf of new SCIENCESS Lineup 2009/2010, we would like to apologize and convey our sorry to all SCIENCESS members who are really concern on this blog 'survival' in this virtual world.
The delay to update this blog is actually due to some technical reasons. After SCIENCESS Annual Grand Dinner which been held at Vistana Hotel last October, everybody were so busy with academic matters. Exam was came very soon then. After that semester break and Eid Al-Adha celebration were took place.
All student are going back to their hometown. Yahoo!
Monday - 7/12/2009 - was the day when the new semester started back after two weeks holiday (is it enough, ha?). While some of our friends in other public universities still enjoying the year-end-sale (or YES!), we, the dedicated IIUM students as usual left our beloved hometown to achieve our mission in serving the ummah. (cewahh...)
Some of us were struggling to manage their study plan, and others were waiting for the scholarship or edu loan (PTPTN laa, what else) to buy equipments for the new semester.
In the meantime, newly elected Exco were preparing the almanac, SCIENCESS Vision and Mission during induction day to ensure Kulliyyah of Science student will get as much benefit from the participation in the society and setting up new updated management to ensure SCIENCESS will strive excellent in the coming one year of tenure.
As we all may know, this blog is maintained by Public Relation and Information Bureau (PRI) under the supervison of Mohd Faisal (Biomedic, 2nd year) and Aishah (Math Sc, 3rd year). But we have our own team to help the PRI Exco to manage this blog.
So, as been requested from our bosses to taaruf who we are -the one who at the back of this blog- we would like to thank to the previous moderator for establsihing a very good platform as a medium to convey the message and information regarding our society programmes by allowing reciprocal communications of top-down and bottom-up.
We hope that Kulliyyah of Science students which are diverse in preferences, hobbies, and multi-talented would become one-family under one roof of SCIENCESS through this blog.
As our number of family members are increasing every year and we are separated demographically and emotionally, we should be more stronger than we before to face the challenge along the way to achieve triple ICE (still remember huh?) refer this.
